Grant Description:

This grant would be used to fund student and teacher participation in this year’s inaugural showcases of student-led civics projects–both at the school and statewide levels. This would include workshop time for teacher advisers, materials for the student project displays, supplies for the event at HMS, and transportation to and from the statewide showcase in Boston.

5 teachers (3 HMS, 2 HHS) x 6 hrs each x $44.21 = $1,326.30
Bus transportation to EMK, Boston = $270
Supply list = $739.86 (see attached PDF for details)

This showcase will be the culmination of the student-led civics project, which was launched two years ago with help from another HEF grant–thank you!
